THE NEWBEES TO CELEBRATE GRAND OPENING OF THE NEWBEE STORE AT MORGANTOWN MALL

MORGANTOWN, WV - The Newbees are excited to announce that The Newbee Store will officially open August 1, 2026, at the Morgantown Mall. The new storefront will serve as a destination for beekeeping supplies, local honey, hive products, pollinator education, and community engagement.

"August 1st marks an exciting new chapter for us. Our goal has never been to create just a retail store" said Mike Lamp of The Newbees. " We want a place where beekeepers, enthusiasts, educators, and families can discover honey bees and other pollinators, ask questions, learn new skills, and connect with a community that shares those interests."

Guests attending the grand opening can look forward to special promotions, giveaways, product demonstrations, and opportunities to meet members of The Newbees team and regional beekeeping community. Additional details and featured guests will be announced as the event approaches.

The store will feature products from trusted beekeeping suppliers, local honey and hive products, pollinator-friendly offerings, educational resources, and seasonal workshops and events. Existing customers will enjoy expanded inventory, in-person shopping, and direct access to The Newbees team for recommendations and support.

Why the mall? As The Newbees continued to grow, Morgantown Mall emerged as the ideal location for the company's first permanent retail storefront.

"Morgantown Mall offered the perfect opportunity to grow our business while remaining accessible to customers throughout North Central West Virginia and the surrounding region," said Lamp. "The location gives us room to expand our inventory, host educational activities, and create an experience that simply wasn't possible through online sales and event booths alone."

"The Morgantown Mall team has been wonderful to work with throughout the process," Lamp added. "They understood our vision from the beginning and have been supportive in helping us create a space that serves both our customers and the broader community."

Beyond retail, The Newbees envision the store becoming a hub for pollinator education, community engagement, and hands-on learning experiences for visitors of all ages.
